By using ABCDirectory you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of ABCDirectory. By creating an account or using any part of the service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of service

ABCDirectory is a web intelligence directory that indexes publicly available information about websites, including technology stacks, hosting providers, and publicly listed contact details. We provide search, filtering, export, and API access to this data.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account. Multiple paid accounts are permitted.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to send unsolicited communications (spam) to data subjects.
  • Scrape or bulk-download data beyond what your plan permits.
  • Use the API in ways that exceed documented rate limits or your plan's allowances.
  • Resell or redistribute raw data exports without prior written permission.
  • Attempt to circumvent authentication, access controls, or billing systems.
  • Use the service for illegal activities, harassment, or discrimination.

5. Billing and subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. All payments are non-refundable except where required by law. If you cancel, your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days' notice. If you do not accept a price change, you may cancel before the new price takes effect.

6. Data and intellectual property

The data in our index is compiled from publicly available sources. We do not claim ownership of the underlying information. However, our database structure, scoring algorithms, user interface, and compiled dataset as a whole are our intellectual property.

Exports you download may be used for your own business purposes. You may not resell, relicense, or create competing products directly from our exports.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or freshness of data. Technology detection is probabilistic — some results may be incorrect. We are not liable for any decisions made based on information from our directory.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from account settings. Upon termination, your data is deleted within 30 days (except records required for legal or accounting purposes).

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Accra, Ghana, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
